This is a site for launching boats from trailers. Boat ramps can normally be used to launch canoes and kayaks but please do your best to keep the boat ramp clear for boat trailers.

Comments & Overview:

John L. Curran Upper Reservoir is a 30 acre reservoir largely within the John L. Curran Management Area, operated by RI DEM. The east and south sides of the reservoir are forested, while the west side is largely lawns and fields. There is a cement plank boat ramp here and a gravel parking lot. No motors over 10 H.P. are allowed on the reservoir. This area is stocked with trout in the early spring.

This site provides access to the following water bodies in the Pawtuxet River watershed: John L Curran Upper Reservoir.

Driving Landmarks: From Route 12 west, three miles west of I-295, turn left (south) onto Seven Mile Road and go 1 mile south. Look for the boat launch on the left, just after crafts store, across the street from a tree farm.
